Крах ИИ-токенов: рынок потерял более $53 млрд за год Translation: Headline: Collapse of AI Tokens: Market Lost Over $53 Billion in a Year

Since December 2024, the sector of AI tokens has experienced a loss exceeding $53 billion in value. This information was provided by the analytical platform CryptoPresales.

Assets that showcased three- and four-digit growth in previous years have reverted to significant corrections. A particularly sharp decline occurred at the year’s end, with a total market capitalization drop of $14 billion in November and December.

According to CoinMarketCap, the current market volume stands at $16.8 billion, which is four times lower than last year’s figures. CoinGecko reports a higher figure at $25.4 billion.

The market capitalization of AI tokens reached an all-time high of $69.9 billion in December 2024, riding the wave of interest in neural networks. However, by the first quarter of 2025, sentiments shifted dramatically; by April, the sector had lost 63% of its value, amounting to $44 billion.

In the second half of the year, the market attempted to stabilize around $30 billion, but overarching corrections in the fourth quarter rendered these efforts ineffective.

The downturn impacted the segment’s leaders severely: eight coins from the top ten plummeted by over 70% compared to their December peaks.

The biggest loser was Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI), which saw its value decrease by 84%. Render (RNDR) and The Graph (GRT) both suffered losses of 82%.

Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL), which surged by 3500% in 2024, collapsed by 73% over the past year. Similar declines were observed in Injective (INJ), Filecoin (FIL), Internet Computer (ICP), and NEAR Protocol (NEAR).

It’s worth noting that popular language models identified the most common concerns of cryptocurrency users in 2025.
