Наследный принц Джохора представляет ринггит-стейблкоин в рамках криптореволюции Translated: Heir to Johor Prince Unveils Ringgit-Stablecoin in the Midst of Crypto Revolution

The telecommunications firm Bullish Aim has announced the launch of the RMJDT «stablecoin.» This company is owned by Tunku Ismail Idris, the hereditary prince and current regent of Johor.

The asset will be pegged to the national currency—ringgit. The issuance will take place on the L1 blockchain Zetrix, which connects government and commercial entities to operate within the Web3 economy, focusing particularly on the Chinese market.

At the same time, Bullish Aim plans to establish a digital treasury. They have allocated 500 million ringgits (approximately $121.5 million) for the purchase of native ZETRIX tokens. In the future, they intend to double these reserves.

The project will be launched within a regulatory sandbox supervised by the Securities Commission and the Central Bank of Malaysia. The initiative aims to test programmable payments and finance supply chains.

The main objective is to enhance the use of the ringgit in cross-border transactions and attract foreign investments.

The regent of Johor referred to the creation of reserves in tokens as a «strategic necessity,» citing Michael Saylor’s Strategy as a model to follow.

It is worth noting that in December, James Butterfill, head of research at CoinShares, stated that the excitement surrounding corporate crypto treasuries is diminishing.
