Рекордная активность в Ethereum на фоне минимальных комиссий: рост ончейн-активности несмотря на снижение активных адресов Translation: Headline: Record activity in Ethereum amidst minimum fees: Growth in on-chain activity despite declining active addresses

Despite the increase in on-chain activity, transaction fees on the Ethereum network remain close to historic lows. On October 26, the transaction cost was recorded at 0.16 Gwei (approximately $0.01).

As of the time of writing, this figure has adjusted to 0.36 Gwei (around $0.02).

Token swaps are costing $0.33, while the sale of NFTs incurs a fee of $0.56.

The chart below illustrates that the average transaction fee is near multi-year lows.

These low values stand in stark contrast to periods of heightened on-chain activity, during which increased demand for transactions has led to spikes in gas prices.

Nevertheless, inflation within the Ethereum network persists, albeit at a minimal level. According to Ultra Sound Money, over the past week, the amount of tokens burned has been less than the issuance of new coins.

On October 28, the daily transaction count on the network reached 1.6 million, marking a monthly peak.

It is noteworthy that this surge in on-chain activity occurs alongside a decline in other metrics. For instance, the number of active addresses has been steadily dwindling since May.

The volume of on-chain value being transferred is also decreasing.

The TRON network has showcased record activity as well. Analysts attribute this growth to the blockchain’s popularity among retail users, stemming from its high speed and low fees.

As reported by TRONSCAN, on October 28, the number of active addresses on the network reached 5.7 million within a single day, surpassing the previous record of 5.4 million.

The total number of transactions exceeded 12.6 million — the highest since June 12, 2023.

*»No headlines. No hype. Just pure throughput,»* Nansen commented on the situation.

To recap, on August 29, voting on a proposal to reduce fees on TRON by 60% was completed, with the majority of community participants supporting the initiative.
