2XKO: Insights from April Testing and Half-Year Progress Update

Riot Games released a one-hour video detailing all the changes to 2XKO over the past six months. The team also showcased gameplay featuring Jinx and shared insights about the Alpha Lab 2 testing phase.

According to executive producer 2XKO Tom Cannon, the team initially focused on refining the core gameplay, significantly aided by player feedback. Now, Riot feels confident in the game’s fundamental aspects and is ready to enter the next phase, which brings 2XKO closer to its release. This phase encompasses localization, server optimization, as well as enhancements in matchmaking and user interface.

Originally, the next fighting game test was supposed to be more extensive, but Riot decided that this would delay the game’s launch. As a result, Alpha Lab 2 will be relatively modest in scale. Here’s what we know about it:
