Trusova Reveals How Pregnancy Taught Her the Strength of Embracing Vulnerability

Russian figure skater, silver medalist of the Beijing Olympic Games, **Alexander Trusova (Ignatova)**, shared that she feels she can show vulnerability around her husband, **Makar Ignatov**.

«He’s probably the only person with whom I can let my guard down (smiles). I enjoy this, but I just wasn’t used to it. My father has always been quite strict, and in sports, I have always been taught that I need to be very strong. Did I learn this at home? Yes, especially during my pregnancy. I feel like I’m becoming less sharp, slower, and more helpless (laughs),» Trusova explained on the show «A Normal Couple.»

It’s worth noting that Alexander Trusova and Makar Ignatov tied the knot in August 2024. The couple is currently expecting their first child and recently learned they are having a boy during their gender reveal party.
