Timashov Set to Make KHL Comeback with Admiral After Successful Stint in Switzerland

Swedish forward Dmitriy Timashov will be joining «Admiral» for the upcoming season, as reported by Hockey Sverige.

«I want to play in the KHL to be closer to my family. I felt a sense of satisfaction after speaking with the club’s CEO and coach. It will be great to return to the KHL and, as I mentioned, to be near my Russian family, whom I have hardly seen since moving to Sweden,» Timashov stated.

It is noted that he has signed a two-year contract with the Far Eastern club.

Last season, Dmitriy, whose father is Russian and mother is Ukrainian, played in Switzerland for «Geneva-Servette.»

In the previous season, the forward played for «Sochi,» where he recorded 4 points (1 goal and 3 assists) in 22 games, finishing with a plus/minus rating of -7. Timashov left the southern team in January 2025.
