Adiev Discusses Potential Return of Lomayev to Krylia Sovetov

The head coach of Krylia Sovetov, **Magomed Adiev**, assessed the prospects of the possible return of former Samara goalkeeper **Ivan Lomaev**.

«Ultimately, it’s the management that is handling this situation. Lomaev is certainly a goalkeeper who could enhance our competition for places. However, at the moment, we have Pesyakov, Nikita [Kokarev], and Frolov. In general, I’m satisfied with our goalkeeping situation; there aren’t any issues in that area. If the management decides to bring Lomaev back, I would be more than happy,» Adiev stated at a press conference.

Earlier reports indicated that Lomaev had reached an agreement on contract terms with the Greek club AEL Larissa, but there has since been a pause in negotiations.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper left Samara in June. Last season, he played in 14 matches, conceding 23 goals and recording two clean sheets.
