St. Louis Blues: A Promising Destination for Columbus Yegor Chinakhov

Sports journalist **Michael DeRosa** has described the **St. Louis Blues** as a suitable team for the potential acquisition of Russian forward **Yegor Chinakhov** from the **Columbus Blue Jackets**.

“It’s safe to say that adding another experienced forward in the middle of the lineup wouldn’t hurt the Blues, especially after they traded Zack Bolduc to the **Montreal Canadiens** early in the offseason. In this context, the Blues might consider Columbus forward Yegor Chinakhov. At just 24 years old and having already shown promise early in his career, he could be an intriguing young player for the Blues, serving as a third-line forward and contributing on the power play.

Overall, given that the **Blues** need more scoring options, Chinakhov could be a valuable addition to their roster. It will be interesting to see if they decide to pursue him, but on paper, the fit looks good,” DeRosa stated, as reported by **The Hockey News**.

Chinakhov was selected by Columbus in the first round of the 2020 NHL Draft with the overall 21st pick. Last season, he suffered multiple injuries and managed to play only 30 games, during which he recorded seven goals and eight assists.
