Japanese Magazine Famitsu Gives Silent Hill f Higher Score Than Silent Hill 2 Remake

In the coming days, **Konami** will lift the embargo on the publication of final reviews for Silent Hill f, but staff members from the Japanese publication Famitsu have already shared their impressions of the anticipated title.

All four journalists rated the game 9 out of 10. As a result, **Silent Hill f** has an overall score of 36 out of 40, which is one point higher than the remake of Silent Hill 2. Reviewers praised the eerie atmosphere, visual aesthetics, audio design, multifaceted storyline with various endings, and engaging gameplay. On average, they found that completing **Silent Hill f** takes about 12-13 hours.

One point of concern arises from the increased focus on action. The journalists feel that combat with enemies and the ability to parry attacks add intensity to the game, although they acknowledge that this aspect may not appeal to all long-time fans of the series. The adjusted difficulty reduces the damage taken, which may not be an ideal solution for players who struggle with action-oriented gameplay. Additionally, they noted a frustrating flaw in the character’s interaction with the environment, as the protagonist frequently gets stuck in corners or near objects while moving around.

**Silent Hill f** will be released on September 25 for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series with Russian text localization.
