Insider Confirms No Progress on Bloodborne Remake, Fans Left Disappointed

It seems that fans of  Bloodborne may need to brace themselves for a long wait—or even abandon all hope. There is still no progress on a remake of the beloved game, which originally launched on PlayStation 4 in 2015.

Insider Jeff Grubb mentioned on the Game Mess podcast that he recently checked in on the project’s status and received the same response: “There’s nothing happening with Bloodborne, don’t expect any news.” This news is disappointing for fans who eagerly anticipate announcements regarding a remake or a PC version during State of Play events.

Complicating matters is the fact that Sony holds the rights to the franchise, meaning any decision regarding its development rests entirely with them. A recently announced game,  The Duskbloods for the Nintendo Switch 2, was initially mistaken for a sequel to Bloodborne due to its similar atmosphere and enemy design; however, those hopes turned out to be unfounded.
