Kozlov Addresses Zorkins Penalty for a Bracelet on the Ice During Match Against Ak Bars

The head coach of Salavat Yulaev, **[Viktor Kozlov](https://example.com)**, commented on the penalty issued to the team’s defender **Nikita Zorkin** for a bracelet that fell onto the ice during the match against Ak Bars (1:3).

«What kind of punishment can we impose on Nikita? He got hit by the puck on his hand; I wasn’t even aware of this rule myself. Obviously, it was the phone or the gadget… It doesn’t matter. We don’t have team trackers; it was his personal tracker, but there won’t be any penalties for the infraction,» Kozlov’s comments were relayed by Championship correspondent Rustam Imamov.

As a reminder, towards the end of the second period, the referees found an object on the ice. They determined that the bracelet belonged to one of the Salavat players. As a result of this incident, defender Nikita Zorkin received a two-minute penalty for illegal and dangerous equipment.
