Aspinall Reveals Potential Hurdle for Dual Fights Before Year-End

The 32-year-old reigning UFC heavyweight champion (up to 265 pounds), Englishman **Tom Aspinall**, has expressed his desire to compete twice before the year ends, while also mentioning the conditions under which this might not happen.

«I would love to fight twice before the year is over. It just depends on whether UFC shares the same interest. They have fighters for main events who are eager to step into the octagon. If I get the chance to fight at another event this year, I will absolutely take it. If not, then I’ll aim for the earliest opportunity next year,» Aspinall was quoted by Bloody Elbow.

As a reminder, Aspinall’s next matchup is against French fighter Ciryl Gane at UFC 321, scheduled for October 25 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

In his last fight, which took place in July 2024 at UFC 304 in Manchester, England, Aspinall secured a victory by knockout in the first round against American Curtis Blaydes. This bout was a rematch for both fighters.
