The 54th-ranked French tennis player, Arthur Rinderknech, expressed his emotions after advancing to the finals of the Masters tournament in Shanghai, China. In the semifinals, he defeated Russian player Daniil Medvedev with a score of 4:6, 6:2, 6:4. Arthur will compete for the title against his cousin.

«No one on Earth could have predicted this… Tomorrow, we’ll try to have as much fun as we did when we were 12, and there will be two winners, no losers,» Rinderknech said after the match.

Rinderknech’s opponent will be ATP-ranked 204th Valantin Vacherot. They are cousins, and this final will be the first for both in their careers at a Masters event.
