Crimson Collective Claims Breach of Nintendos Internal Data

The hacker group Crimson Collective claims to have accessed internal data from **Nintendo**. An image shared on the X page of Hackmanac allegedly displays folders from the company containing files related to new games, development, and administrative documents. The authenticity of the leak has not yet been verified.

Crimson Collective is known for a recent attack on the tech firm **Red Hat**, during which the hackers stole approximately 570 gigabytes of data. Cybersecurity experts have been monitoring the activities of this group for several months.

The service hackrisk.io, which tracks hacking incidents, reported that it is keeping an eye on the situation. A representative of Crimson Collective captioned the image with: «Who said we don’t have files on **Nintendo**?”.

**Nintendo** has faced leaks before. Between 2018 and 2020, source codes for the company’s classic games were leaked online, and in 2020, the Nintendo Network ID was hacked, affecting over 300,000 accounts.

Representatives from **Nintendo** have not yet commented on the incident. Statements from hackers should be approached with caution until the company confirms the breach. However, fans are already worried that materials concerning upcoming games and projects that have not yet been officially announced could be leaked, potentially impacting development negatively.
