Bitget продолжает борьбу с мошенничеством после увольнения сотрудника за обман с BGB Translation: Bitget Continues Fight Against Fraud After Employee Fired for BGB Scam

The cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has terminated the employment of its business development manager for the CIS region due to fraudulent activities. This was announced by the company via Telegram.

According to the firm, Koryak was soliciting victims to transfer funds to a Bitget user ID that he personally controlled. He misrepresented his personal account as the exchange’s wallet to receive funds under this program.

After the scheme was uncovered, the employee admitted to the fraud. Bitget reported that he urged the victims not to escalate the matter and promised to return their money, but subsequently ceased all communication.

The first complaint was received in early October 2025. Bitget issued notifications about an increase in fraudulent activity to warn users.

The statement confirmed that the employment contract with Koryak has been terminated. The company sent him a legal notice to cease any illegal activities and to return the funds.

The exchange expressed its willingness to cooperate with law enforcement and assist the affected individuals in recovering their assets. If sufficient evidence is available, the firm may provide advance compensation. All reports are subjected to authenticity checks to eliminate duplicates and fraudulent claims.

Bitget encourages users to report any violations. This can be done anonymously via whistleblowing@bitget.com.
