Medieval City-Building Simulator Farthest Frontier Officially Launches After Extended Early Access

In the summer of 2022, the creators of  Grim Dawn from Crate Entertainment launched their new project, a medieval city-building simulator called  Farthest Frontier, in Steam’s Early Access. After a little over three years, the game has finally reached its full release, for which the developers have prepared a trailer to celebrate the occasion.

Initially, the team had intended to keep Farthest Frontier in Early Access for about 8 to 12 months, but they were unable to meet this timeline. It took them three times longer to polish all the interconnected systems featuring detailed simulation. In the release version, the developers highlighted several new features:

In Farthest Frontier, players are tasked with leading their own settlement on the edge of the civilized world. Residents can engage in various activities such as farming, fishing, hunting, and military ventures, among others. Additionally, the developers have included a peaceful mode for players who wish to focus solely on the building aspect without the threat of raids.

Farthest Frontier is now available on PC (Steam) with Russian text localization. The game boasts a «very positive» rating of 86% based on over 20,000 user reviews.
