Andrey Rublev: Feeling Burned Out, Eagerly Awaiting Season End

The 15th-ranked tennis player in the world, Russian athlete Andrey Rublev, admitted that he is emotionally drained from the 2025 season and is looking forward to its conclusion. The Russian has lost his last five singles matches.

– I feel good. I’m already anticipating the end of the season (laughs). It’s almost over, so that’s fine. I definitely need a break (pause. — Ed. note from «Championat»). I’m feeling too worn out, too exhausted, just too… burnt out (emotionally drained. — Ed. note from «Championat»).

I absolutely need a break, and then I’ll approach everything with renewed energy. Thank goodness, off the court, I’m feeling really good, getting better and better. It’s just a matter of time before this shows on the court too.

– When did you realize you were burnt out?
– Well, I think it was around the beginning of the tournaments in China that I really noticed it, after the first event, – Rublev shared during his appearance on “Bol’she!”.
