Exciting News: Animal Crossing: New Horizons to Release on Switch 2 with Major Update

In 2021, Nintendo stated that following the 2.0 update, Animal Crossing: New Horizons would cease to receive major updates. However, much to the delight of its fans, the company did not stick to this promise. A new update, version 3.0, has been announced, along with a native version of the life simulator for Switch 2.

The upcoming patch will be available on both console versions and will delight gamers with a new hotel on the pier, where players can customize their rooms. Additionally, there will be an increase in items and clothing, the option to reset your island, and enhancements to accommodate up to 9,000 objects. The update will also introduce collaborative items with LEGO, as well as nostalgic toys and consoles from Nintendo. Subscribers to Nintendo Switch Online will have the chance to play classic titles on retro consoles.
