Spinoff from Smuta: Unveiling the Trailer for Zemsky Sobor

**Release Trailer for «Zemsky Sobor»**

The studio **Cyberia Nova**, previously known for their unsuccessful title **»Smuta,»** has now launched a spin-off of their historical project—an adventurous action game titled **»Zemsky Sobor.»**

The new game portrays events following the Time of Troubles from the perspective of a Cossack named Kirsha, a companion of Yuri Miloslavsky. Players will delve into the intrigues surrounding the Zemsky Sobor of 1613, where delegates from various Russian cities congregated to elect a new tsar. Kirsha will find himself embroiled in the struggle for the throne, needing to thwart the ambitions of foreigners and traitors using his wits, resourcefulness, and sword.

The developers claim to blend historical authenticity with an engaging narrative, employing the technique of an «unreliable narrator.» «Zemsky Sobor» features quests, ambushes, new characters, and cameo appearances from historical figures such as False Dmitry III, Zemsky Yaryzhka, and the jester Solovey. Players can expect to complete the adventure in approximately 6-7 hours.

In this spin-off, the development team has revamped several gameplay mechanics. They have enhanced the stealth system, made enemies more intelligent, and introduced new movement elements and interactive features, including quick time events, mini-games, and environmental interactions. For instance, players can push a stuck cart or blow into blacksmith bellows.

Developers promise an improved user interface, tutorial hints for newcomers, an interactive mini-map, and a faction screen to track political conflicts, making character progression more user-friendly.

The game’s audio has also seen significant updates. According to **Cyberia Nova**, combat and stealth sequences are now richer, and the soundtrack features an interactive score, utilizing both folk and modern instruments. The opening Cossack song «Sluzhba li, matushka…» is performed by the lead singer of the Rostov Cossack Ensemble. The character voiceovers have been provided by the **Buka** studio, featuring well-known dubbing actors. Kirsha, the main protagonist, is voiced by **Vladimir Palyanitsa.**

All owners of the original **»Zemsky Sobor»** will receive this new title for free, while those who pre-ordered **»Smuta»** will be rewarded with an in-game item—the sword of Yuri Miloslavsky. The game is exclusively available on PC via **VK Play** for 613 rubles, complete with full Russian localization.
