Divorce Settlement Reached by Russias Wealthiest Woman After Turbulent Year Marked by Controversial Merger and Deadly Confrontation

Tatiana Kim, the founder of the online retailer Wildberries and the richest woman in Russia, along with her former spouse Vladislav Bakalchuk, has reached a final settlement in their high-profile divorce, as reported by a Moscow court on Thursday.

The couple had been involved in a property dispute since their divorce was finalized in February 2025, which followed the contentious merger of Wildberries, the largest online retailer in Russia, with the outdoor advertising firm Russ Group.

The asset division reportedly included shares in the merged entity, real estate located in the Moscow area, and various other investments. Additionally, a court had previously mandated that Bakalchuk pay Kim $2.6 million after the assets awarded to him were found to exceed his entitled share.

While the exact details of the settlement remain undisclosed, Kim indicated that the terms were «satisfactory to both parties.»

«I’m pleased we were able to come to a compromise. This demonstrates a mature approach,» she stated.

Bakalchuk hinted on his Telegram account that he might share the terms in a different announcement.

The corporate turmoil surrounding Wildberries’ merger with Russ Group attracted public remarks from notable individuals, such as Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, and escalated into a tragic incident at the company’s headquarters in September 2024, resulting in two fatalities.

At 50 years old, Kim has a net worth of $4.6 billion, making her one of only four female billionaires in Russia.
