Semak: Our Focus is on Ourselves, Not Cheering for Baltika Against Krasnodar

The head coach of Zenit, **[Sergey Semak](https://example.com/tags/582-sergej-semak)**, responded to whether he and his team would support Baltika in their match against Krasnodar, which will take place today, November 9, as part of the 15th round of the Mir RPL. The blue-white-blue team recently drew 1-1 with Krylya Sovetov in their own 15th-round RPL match.

**“Here’s a bonus question: will you be cheering for Baltika in a few hours?”**
“We will primarily focus on cheering for ourselves in order to accumulate as many points as possible. After that, we’ll see. Every team will experience losses. The question is: how many will each one lose? The team that loses the least will likely have a more solid defensive performance and probably a better chance of winning the championship,” Semak’s words were reported by Zenit’s press service on their official site.

Currently, the St. Petersburg club occupies third place with 30 points from 15 matches. Krasnodar is in second place with 32 points after 14 games. Leading the standings is CSKA, which has accumulated 33 points in 15 matches.
