Resident Evil: Survival Unit Mobile Strategy Launching Next Week

The free-to-play strategy game Resident Evil: Survival Unit has officially announced its release date—it will launch in just one week. It’s worth noting that the game is being developed by the teams at Aniplex and JOYCITY, while Capcom is only partially involved.

Resident Evil: Survival Unit will go live on November 17th

for iOS and Android, but according to Moscow time, it will actually be available on November 18th at 5:00 AM MSK. Pre-registration is currently open in several countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Serbia. In some regions, the game will only be available at the beginning of 2026, such as in South Korea, Vietnam, and Indonesia. According to the latest information, there are no plans for Resident Evil: Survival Unit to launch in Russia.

In Survival Unit, players will take control of a nameless protagonist navigating a parallel timeline, allowing them to relive key events from the Resident Evil series. The core gameplay involves building a base and sending both well-known and lesser-known characters from the franchise on various missions. While exploring the map for resources, players will occasionally encounter groups of survivors, with whom they can choose to either collaborate or engage in combat.
