Fallen God Zaachen Emerges as the New Champion of League of Legends

During the World Championship 2025 tournament, the team from **Riot Games** revealed the next champion set to join the **League of Legends** universe. This champion is the fallen god Za’ahen, who wields both divine and unholy powers.

In the cinematic **trailer**, it is shown that Xin Zhao sacrificed himself to become a vessel for Za’ahen. To combat the consuming corruption, Za’ahen pursues other dark beings. Once agreeing to be imprisoned within his glaive to avoid succumbing to madness, he is now free. While Za’ahen’s intentions are noble, his methods are ruthless, and the war he waged is perpetual. However, as long as Za’ahen remains unbroken, he has the power to defeat anyone who threatens Runeterra.

Za’ahen is designed for the top lane, a warrior who relies heavily on auto-attacks. The more he attacks, the greater the damage he inflicts and the more health he can restore. Therefore, the closer he gets to his adversary, the higher his chances of survival, particularly given his resurrection ability.

Among Za’ahen’s skills are two auto-attack strikes, a pull that brings enemies closer to him, and a dash to a designated point that unleashes an attack around him. When using his ultimate ability, the fallen god ascends into the sky and crashes down to the ground, dealing damage to enemies and restoring health based on a portion of the damage dealt.

His passive ability, «Warrior’s Fortitude,» allows him to gain charges of Resolve by hitting enemies with auto-attacks and skills. Each charge grants him additional attack power. When Resolve overflows, the attack power bonus increases, granting Za’ahen the ability to revive.

Players can already experience Za’ahen in the “beta” version. His official launch will take place in update 25.23, scheduled for November 19. This update will also see the return of the winter map to the Rift.

As for the League of Legends World Championship results, the South Korean team T1 emerged victorious for the sixth time. They defeated KT Rolster with a score of 3-2 and took home a prize of 1 million dollars.
