Baltika Legend Viktor Grakov Passes Away at 72

Veteran of FC Baltika, **Viktor Grakov**, passed away at the age of 73. This information was shared by the press service of the Kaliningrad club via their Telegram channel.

“The football club Baltika expresses its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Viktor Timofeyevich. May he rest in peace!” the statement reads.

Grakov played as a midfielder for Baltika during the USSR championship, spending seven seasons with the team. Over his tenure, he appeared in 148 matches and scored eight goals. After retiring from professional football, he became a youth coach at the Baltika Sports School and has been teaching at Kaliningrad’s School of Olympic Reserve No. 5 since 2007. Among his students is Vladislav Lazarev, who advanced to the Russian Premier League with the team in 2023.
