Players Slam Sacred 2 Remaster Rating Due to Terrible Optimization

Yesterday, the teams at **SparklingBit**, **Funatics**, and **Nukklear**, with the backing of **THQ Nordic**, officially released a remastered version of **Sacred 2: Fallen Angel**. Unfortunately, the launch has been met with significant backlash from gamers, primarily due to poor optimization and questionable «enhancements.»

At the time of this news update, **Sacred 2 Remaster** boasts slightly over 500 reviews on **Steam**, with only 44% of them being positive. Players have reported various issues, including bugs, crashes, missing features from the original version, and a redesign of the interface that many find unsatisfactory. It’s been noted that **Sacred 2 Gold** runs much more smoothly, and with fan-made modifications, it outshines the remaster considerably.

Given this release, many are now questioning the potential development of the next installment in the series, which was hinted at recently by **Franz Stradal**, one of the founders of **Sacred**.

**BroTeacher**, with a thumbs down

The **Sacred 2 Remaster** is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, but it lacks a Russian localization.
