Kojima Unveils New Anime Series Death Stranding Isolations Set to Premiere in 2027

During the Disney+ Originals presentation at Hong Kong Disneyland, employees of **Kojima Productions**, in collaboration with **E&H** studio, unveiled an animated series titled **Death Stranding Isolations**. The announcement was accompanied solely by a cover image, and fans will have to wait for the release of the full trailer. It’s also noted that this title is a working one and could change in the future.

The executive producer for **Death Stranding Isolations** is none other than **Hideo Kojima**. In addition to him, the series will feature director **Takayuki Sano** and character designer **Ilya Kuvshinov**.

The series is said to «capture the spirit and themes of the original, depicting the world of **Death Stranding** with bold yet subtle details and top-notch hand-drawn 2D animation.» The storyline will unfold parallel to the plot of the first game, introducing completely new characters.
