Kondratyuk Shares His Positive Emotions After Winning the Grand Prix in Moscow

Russian figure skater Mark Kondratyuk shared his thoughts following his victory at the fourth stage of the Grand Prix of Russia held in Moscow, where he scored 278.65 points from the judges.

«My feelings are mostly positive. I think, emotionally, the performance went well, and in terms of elements, it was almost there. However, it was definitely an improvement compared to my performance in Magnitogorsk. What I delivered there and here was cleaner today. Although there were still things I didn’t execute, at least I managed to incorporate some elements. That’s a step forward. For the first time, I found it easy to skate this program.

Typically, the free skate is physically demanding, regardless of how well you prepare. Today, during my performance, I felt a sense of liveliness on the ice. That’s a good sign; it means the program is gradually coming together. I hope it will continue to get even better and easier,» reported Kondratyuk to Championship correspondent Anastasia Matrosova.
