Dispatch Surpasses 2 Million Players, Blending Interactive Cinema with Superhero Comedy

AdHoc Studio celebrated yet another milestone as their superhero comedy Dispatch attracted 2 million players.

At the start of the month, it was reported that the game had surpassed one million copies sold. In the latest announcement, the developers are now focusing on the total number of users rather than just sold copies, suggesting that the count of 2 million may also include those who tried the demo version available on Steam.

The game follows an unlucky hero forced to work as a dispatcher for a superhero agency. The protagonist is tasked with managing a team of reformed villains. AdHoc has created a blend of interactive cinema and simple management gameplay, where players send their charges on missions while considering the unique traits of each operative.

Dispatch consists of eight episodes, all of which are currently available on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5. Our reviewer Alexey Likhatyov awarded the game a rating of “Amazing.” He believes that the team from Telltale has successfully produced an interactive series that honors the best traditions of the now-defunct studio.
