Titov Names Key Players Ahead of Spartak vs. CSKA Derby Showdown

Former Russian football player **Yegor Titov** identified key players from both Spartak and CSKA ahead of their upcoming match. The 16th round of the Mir RPL will take place on November 22 at the Lukoil Arena, starting at 16:45.

«CSKA boasts an excellent central axis with **Ivan Oblyakov** and **Matvey Kislyak**. Overall, the army team has a solid Russian core. Spartak, on the other hand, finds itself in a different situation. Leaving aside Nail Umyarov, the spotlight falls on Ezequiel Barco, Marquinhos, Gedson, and Solari. In recent matches, Levai Garcia has been impressive—he has finally started scoring, although he was on the bench for the national team in their last game. This is concerning, as he might lose his competitive edge, but there’s the upside of extra rest, which could mean he plays with renewed energy. We have high hopes for these players, except for Solari, who will miss the match due to yellow card accumulation,» Titov’s comments were reported by TASS.

As of now, CSKA stands in second place in the RPL standings with 33 points, while Spartak is in sixth with 25. Leading the Russian championship is Krasnodar, followed by Zenit from St. Petersburg in third place with 30 points.
