Decoding the Future: PUBG: Black Budgets Closed Alpha Testing Set for December

Krafton had announced plans to release their extraction shooter, PUBG: Black Budget, in 2024, but there hasn’t been much progress yet. However, there are some developments— the publisher has officially showcased the game and announced a closed testing phase.

PUBG: Black Budget is a tactical extraction shooter that aims to «open a new chapter in the genre.» The primary objective for players is not only to survive and combat enemies but also to explore the world and uncover its mysteries.

The game takes place on the mysterious island of Koli, which is stuck in a time loop. Additionally, an entity known as the Anomaly continuously ravages the environment. Players will need to search for artifacts, build a base, craft equipment, and discover the truth behind the experiments conducted on the island. There will be both PvP and PvE threats to contend with.

Closed alpha testing for PUBG: Black Budget will be held on Steam in two phases: from December 12 to 14 and from December 19 to 21. Interested players can apply directly on the game’s store page on Valve. Access keys will also be distributed through Twitch Drops. Residents of Europe, Asia, and North America will be able to participate, with Russian included among the supported languages.

At this time, a release date for PUBG: Black Budget has not been announced.
