Cronos: The New Dawn Hits Half a Million Sales

The Polish studio **Bloober Team** announced that the sales of their survival horror game **[Cronos: The New Dawn](https://stopgame.ru/game/cronos_the_new_dawn)** have reached 500,000 copies.

To recall, within the first three days post-launch, 200,000 players purchased the horror title—this figure only accounts for digital sales and excludes physical copies. While the sales figures for **Cronos** may seem modest, the developers have indicated that the new franchise has made a strong debut and is set to grow.

The storyline of **The New Dawn** unfolds in 1980s Poland and in a post-apocalyptic future. The protagonist travels back in time to gather the essences of significant individuals. The gameplay of this creation from **Bloober** is reminiscent of **Dead Space**, as players navigate dark environments, fend off monsters, scavenge for resources, and strive to conserve them.

Our authors, **Maxim Zaharchuk** and **Semyon Okorokov**, shared positive impressions of the game—while it may not become a defining icon of the horror genre, it serves as a successful spiritual successor to «Dead Space.»
