MyHair AI представляет инновационное решение для диагностики облысения с помощью искусственного интеллекта Translation: MyHair AI introduces an innovative solution for diagnosing hair loss using artificial intelligence.

The startup MyHair AI has developed an AI service that evaluates hair density from photographs and detects early signs of hair loss. TechCrunch reports on this innovation.

Users need to take a photo and upload it to the MyHair app. The AI technology analyzes the images and reports potential issues.

Over time, users can add more photographs. The AI will monitor changes and suggest personalized protection methods. Additionally, users can find specialists or clinics through the platform and read verified reviews.

«Our AI tells you exactly what is happening with your hair. It recommends products that are truly suitable for a specific hair type and informs about possible side effects,» said co-founder Kyriak Lefor.

He believes that introducing transparency and medical accuracy into an industry worth $50 billion could fundamentally alter how consumers understand, treat, and select hair care products.

Lefor’s idea for MyHair AI emerged two years ago during a visit to a New York barber shop. An employee suggested he was beginning to bald and recommended a special shampoo. Later, a doctor debunked this, stating there was no issue.

This experience led Lefor to explore the market for hair loss treatments. He found that there was a lot of misinformation and clinics with questionable reviews in this field.

It took about a year to shape the concept. The first prototype of MyHair was created over several years using a vibe-coding approach at Cursor, followed by months of scientific and clinical validation and the development of a user-friendly app.

«We didn’t hire anyone for the first prototype. It was completely created using vibe-coding,» emphasized Lefor.

Later, the company employed developers to create more robust and scalable code.

Currently, the product has over 1,000 paid subscribers and 200,000 registered accounts. It operates on its proprietary AI model trained on more than 300,000 images.

«Men worry about two health issues: sexual dysfunction and hair loss. We are addressing one of the most common everyday concerns,» noted Lefor.

In October, the biotech firm SpotitEarly began developing a home test for cancer based on breath analysis, combining canine olfaction with artificial intelligence algorithms. Subsequently, Google developed an AI model for cancer treatment.
