New Role of Adrian Newey: Assuring Aston Martins Progress Will Remain Unaffected

The new team principal of Aston Martin, Adrian Newey, addressed concerns that his additional responsibilities might adversely affect the development of the British racing team, as they could divert his attention away from car development and enhancing the technical department’s performance.

«In any case, I planned to be present at the early races of the season, so my workload won’t change significantly. It’s the design and development of the car that motivates me to get out of bed, so I’m committed to maintaining this aspect of my job,» Newey stated in an interview with Sky Sports.

It’s worth noting that Newey has taken over the role from Andy Cowell, who will focus on collaboration with Honda and other key partners of the team.
