The satirical superhero series **»The Boys,»** based on the comic book series of the same name, premiered in 2019 and quickly gained immense popularity. The media franchise has now expanded into gaming with the **announcement** of the first official game based on **»The Boys.»**

Titled **The Boys: Trigger Warning,** this new project is a stealth action game developed by **Sony Pictures Virtual Reality** and **ARVORE.** However, there’s a catch: it will only be available for PlayStation VR2 and Quest virtual reality headsets.

Under the guidance of Butcher and Mother’s Milk, who operate from the shadows, Lucas sets out to hunt down their enemies.

As the main character, players will experience superhuman abilities, such as telekinesis and shooting laser beams from their eyes. To enact his revenge, Lucas will need to explore the entire Vought complex, including locations that may not even exist according to the corporation’s legal documents.

The game’s development involves writers and actors from the series. Notably, **Laz Alonso** (Mother’s Milk), **Colby Minifie** (Ashley Barrett), and **Jensen Ackles** portraying a twisted version of Soldier Boy, created specifically for the game, are involved. **»Working with the show’s writers and actors helped us maintain that signature blend of audacity, dark humor, and brutality that made the original so famous,»** said **Ricardo Justus,** founder and head of **ARVORE.**

**The Boys: Trigger Warning** is set to launch in Spring 2026, with a recommended retail price of $23.99. Pre-orders are currently available in the **Meta store** and will later open on the **PS Store.**
