Former Legal Entity of BK Samara Declared Bankrupt Amid Financial Instability

The Arbitration Court of the Samara Region has declared the public organization Samara Regional Basketball Sports Club «Samara» bankrupt. This information comes from «Komsomolskaya Pravda – Samara.» The court determined that SBK «Samara» is financially unstable and lacks a realistic chance of restoring its solvency.

It’s important to note that the bankruptcy pertains to the former legal entity and not to the Non-Profit Organization Basketball Club «Samara,» whose teams are currently competing in the VTB United League, the Women’s Premier League, and youth leagues.

In the current season of the VTB United League, «Samara» has lost all of its matches and is presently at the bottom of the standings. Last season, the team faced several issues with employee salary payments and also had debts to various organizations.
