Adobe и ChatGPT: Революция в дизайне и редактировании фото Translation: Adobe and ChatGPT: A Revolution in Design and Photo Editing

ChatGPT has integrated Adobe tools, including Photoshop, Acrobat, and Express. Users can create designs, as well as edit images and PDF files directly within the chatbot’s interface.

These tools are available for free. To activate them, users only need to upload a file and mention the service name in their prompt—such as, “Adobe Photoshop, help me blur the background of this image.” There’s no need to repeat the app’s name in subsequent conversations.

Adobe’s services can provide ready-made processing options or a manual adjustment interface, including sliders for brightness and contrast.

The capabilities within ChatGPT are limited compared to full software applications. Among the features are:

Basic modifications that can be carried out directly within the chatbot interface. For more advanced tools, users must switch to native applications, where the work can continue seamlessly from where they left off.

The integration is accessible to users on PC and iOS, with Adobe Express also available on Android. Support for Photoshop and Acrobat on Google’s operating system will be added later.

In October, OpenAI introduced the ability to create applications within ChatGPT, allowing users to interact directly with services like Booking.com, Expedia, Spotify, Figma, Coursera, Zillow, Canva, and others.

The graphic design tool Figma has unveiled new features powered by artificial intelligence. These tools enable users to select and remove objects, as well as to upscale images.

The company stated that these solutions would eliminate the need for users to export images to other editing tools.

When selecting an object for removal or movement, its attributes such as color and background are retained. Additional settings for lighting, shadows, and focus are also available.

Figma has introduced an image extension feature, which is useful for filling backgrounds or enhancing other details.

All editing tools in Figma have been consolidated into a single panel, streamlining access to object selection, annotation addition, and text manipulation. The background removal option, being one of the most sought-after, has been prioritized in the interface.

The applications of neural networks continue to expand: the police department of Goodyear (a suburb of Phoenix) has begun using ChatGPT for creating suspect sketches.

“We hope that these new techniques and AI technologies will assist in solving more complex cases here in Arizona and across the nation,” stated the police department.

Law enforcement officials assert that the resulting image is not a fabrication of AI but a digital counterpart to a classic composite sketch. They conducted interviews with witnesses, drew a sketch, and inputted the prompt into ChatGPT.

“We live in a time when a pencil sketch published will hardly attract anyone’s attention,” noted Mike Bonasera, who created the work.

He has been sketching suspects for about five years.

Notably, the AI-generated images have not led to any arrests.

In parallel with the development of its products, OpenAI intensified its focus on monetization, appointing Denise Dresser, former head of Slack, as its new revenue director.

Before Slack, Dresser worked at Salesforce for over a decade, where she built and led international sales teams and managed relations with the company’s largest clients.

“I have dedicated my career to developing category-defining platforms, and I look forward to applying my experience at OpenAI as it enters the next phase of enterprise transformation,” Dresser commented.

It’s worth mentioning that a document leak in November shed light on OpenAI’s financial situation, indicating that the company may still be spending more on inference than it earns.
