Netflix Teams Up with Delphi Interactive to Launch a New Era for FIFA Video Game

After parting ways with **Electronic Arts**, FIFA’s struggles within the gaming industry continue. The organization has already announced **blockchain titles**, and now it has revealed a collaboration with **Netflix** to launch a new installment of the football simulator **FIFA**. This game will be accessible for mobile devices through Netflix Games.

Based on the information available, expectations for the new **FIFA** to match the simulation quality of **EA** games might be misplaced. Firstly, the project is being developed with a focus on TV streaming, and players will control the game via smartphones. Secondly, the game is being marketed as a «reimagining of football simulations,» designed for anyone to play anytime and anywhere. Both single-player and online modes have been promised.

The next **FIFA** will be published and developed by the lesser-known studio **Delphi Interactive**. Currently, this team is assisting in the production of **007 First Light** by the creators of **Hitman**, **IO Interactive**. **Delphi** has yet to release its own games and does not have other notable achievements to its name. *“Our goal is crystal clear: to create the most fun, accessible, and expansive football game ever — the new **FIFA**,”* stated **Delphi’s** founder and CEO, **Casper Daugaard**.

The new **FIFA** game on Netflix Games is set to launch in the summer of 2026, coinciding with the World Cup scheduled to take place in North America during June and July. Whether the project will debut on other platforms remains uncertain.
