Indie Hit Buckshot Roulette Surpasses 8 Million Sales Milestone

A year and a half ago, independent Estonian developer Mike Klubnika released his grim version of «Russian Roulette,» titled [Buckshot Roulette](https://stopgame.ru/game/buckshot_roulette), on Steam. By December 2024, the game had achieved a remarkable milestone of 4 million copies sold, and within a year, its player base had doubled.

At the same time, Klubnika provided some insights into the upcoming console port. He had previously revealed in February that an Xbox Series version was in development, set to launch by the end of the current year. Unfortunately, the team encountered technical challenges due to the engine’s specifics, leading to the Xbox version’s release being pushed to 2026. Alongside its Xbox Series debut, the game will also be available in the Game Pass library.

As of now, [Buckshot Roulette](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2835570/Buckshot_Roulette/) boasts over 108,000 reviews on Steam, with 95% of these being positive.
