By the end of 2025, the total influx of funds into cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETPs) reached $47.2 billion, according to a report by CoinShares.

This figure slightly lagged behind the record $48.7 billion recorded the previous year.

In terms of countries, the United States maintained a strong lead, with investors pouring $42.5 billion into crypto funds, a decrease of 12% compared to the prior period.

Germany experienced the most significant growth, with an influx of $2.5 billion, contrasting with an outflow of $43 million in 2024. A similar trend was observed in Canada, where digital asset products saw inflows of $1.1 billion after a loss of $603 million.

Switzerland recorded a moderate 11.5% increase, bringing total inflows to $775 million.

Over the past year, Bitcoin fund inflows sharply decreased by 35%, totaling $26.9 billion compared to $41.7 billion in 2024.

Conversely, products based on leading altcoins showed remarkable growth. Ethereum-ETPs attracted $12.7 billion, marking a 138% increase. XRP and Solana segments recorded inflows of $3.7 billion (500%) and $3.6 billion (1000%), respectively.

Interest in other digital assets beyond Bitcoin fell, with inflows dropping to $318 million, a 30% decrease from last year.

In the first week of 2026, total inflows into exchange-traded crypto products showed a positive trend, reaching $582 million.

It’s worth noting that in the previous seven days, investors withdrew $446 million from these funds.
