CI Games Boss Addresses Elden Ring Nightreign Plagiarism Claims Amidst Lords of the Fallen II Previews

The team at **CI Games** has released images of enemies from the upcoming **[Lords of the Fallen II](https://stopgame.ru/game/lords_of_the_fallen_2)**. Users have noted that one of the foes bears a striking resemblance to the character from **[Elden Ring Nightreign](https://stopgame.ru/game/elden_ring_nightreign)**. According to the company’s CEO, **Marek Tymiński**, this is merely a coincidence.

Recently, **CI Games** [displayed](https://x.com/lotfgame/status/2008981233158783336) an armored warrior known as the Crescent Warrior. Some gamers believe that the developer, **HexWorks**, has «borrowed» the design of the Wielder from **Nightreign**.

Later on, **Tymiński** dismissed the plagiarism allegations as “100% false.” He stated that the character design for **Lords of the Fallen II** was finalized on July 17, 2024, nearly six months prior to the announcement of **Nightreign**. As for the similarity to the Wielder, he remarked that it wasn’t surprising since both warriors are knights in armor.

In the comments on his post, the director reassured the audience that despite the plagiarism accusations, the **HexWorks** team is focused on developing the game.
