Новый подход Pump.fun к комиссиям: создание системы вознаграждений для контент-креаторов с учетом трейдеров Translation: Pump.funs New Approach to Fees: Creating a Reward System for Content Creators with Trader Consideration

The «meme token factory» Pump.fun is set to revise its commission reward system for content creators, as the current model has proven to be insufficiently beneficial. This was announced by co-founder Alon Cohen.

According to him, the Dynamic Fees V1 system implemented last year attracted new developers and spurred an increase in on-chain activity, but «failed to significantly alter the behavior of the average token user.»

Cohen believes that «dynamic fees» encourage engagement in low-risk activities, such as token creation, while not incentivizing higher-risk actions like trading. He described this situation as precarious since traders are a «vital element of the platform.»

The Dynamic Fees V1 model was introduced in September as part of the Ascend update, aimed at increasing revenue for content creators without uniformly raising the overall commission total. The mechanism employs tiered fee rates based on market capitalization, lowering fees for content creators as token values rise to balance project sustainability with long-term trader participation.

Now, Pump.fun has announced its initial changes that will allow for fee distribution among content creators (up to 10 wallets).

This feature will also provide opportunities for transferring ownership rights of coins and revoking permission for updates. In the new system, content creators and administrators of the Community Takeover mechanism will be able to set commission rates after a token’s launch.

Cohen stated that these are just the first changes in a significant overhaul planned for 2026.

«I can’t say too much for now, but as always, our strategy will be grounded in market principles, and traders will ultimately decide whether a particular narrative deserves commission rewards for creators and how they should be utilized,» he noted.

Recall that in November, co-founder Pump.fun, under the nickname Sapijiju, rejected allegations concerning the withdrawal of $436 million in stablecoins to the Kraken exchange.
