Spartak Rejects Flamengos €14 Million Bid for Barco, Says Journalist Simplicio

Moscow’s Spartak has turned down Flamengo’s second offer for attacking midfielder Ezequiel Barco. According to journalist Raiza Simplicio, the amount proposed, which stood at €14 million, did not meet the expectations of the red and whites.

Previously, it was reported that Flamengo’s initial bid for the Argentine was under €10 million. Football agent Timur Gurtzkaya also mentioned that Barco’s wife issued an ultimatum, threatening divorce if he did not return to Latin America.

Barco joined Spartak from River Plate in the summer of 2024. Since then, he has made 36 appearances across all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing nine assists.
