Ural Motorsport Driver: It’s Terrifying When a Tire Blows at 140 km/h

The Ural Motorsport driver, **Yuri Naiman**, shared details about the incident involving a blown tire during the ninth stage of the Silk Way Rally 2025.

«Today was quite challenging. We experienced two punctures. First, after navigating the dunes, the rear right tire blew out, and then shortly after, at around the 200-kilometer mark while traveling at 140 km/h, the front right tire exploded. It was definitely a bit scary when the car began to veer sideways. I tried to regain control as it started to slide. The debris from that tire ended up damaging the mass switch. The dunes themselves were manageable, but to be honest, I was quite exhausted from them,» Naiman said, according to the event’s press service.
