Agent Defends Diveev Against Claims of Inability to Play Twice a Week

Agent Oleg Eryomin, representing CSKA Moscow’s central defender Igor Diveev, addressed comments made by the head coach of the team, Fabio Celestini. Before the fourth round match in the group stage of the RPL Path of the Fonbet Cup against «Baltika,» Celestini mentioned that the player struggles to handle two games per week.

– Fabio Celestini mentioned that Diveev cannot cope with playing two matches a week. Does Igor have any injuries?
– That’s a question for Celestini; I’m not sure what he means. Igor has no injuries, he is physically fit and ready for all matches, — Eryomin told Match TV.

This season, the defender has participated in nine matches across all competitions, scoring two goals. The player’s current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to data from Transfermarkt, the market value of the footballer is €8 million.
