Allegri: Well Assess Our Championship Readiness in May

The head coach of AC Milan, **Massimiliano Allegri**, shared his thoughts on the club’s ambitions for the current season ahead of the seventh round Serie A match against Fiorentina.

«We’ll see in May if we are ready to win the championship, as it is claimed by the strongest team. There’s no point in asking if we’re prepared, because the situation outside the field appears quite different. It’s impossible to secure a championship title by repeatedly fielding the same players for all 38 matches. Every substitute must feel like they are part of AC Milan and be ready to step onto the pitch,» said Allegri, according to the club’s official website.

The match between AC Milan and Fiorentina will take place on October 19 at the San Siro Stadium. After six matches in Serie A, Milan currently sits in third place on the league table with 13 points, while Fiorentina is in 17th place with three points.
