Batchis Take: Referee Performance Under Scrutiny in Krasnodars Match Against CSKA

Forward of FC Krasnodar, **João Battti**, has criticized the referee’s performance during the match of the 7th round of the Russian Premier League against CSKA, which ended in a 1-1 draw. The game took place at the VEB Arena in Moscow, with **Rafael Shafeev** from Volgograd serving as the main official.

«Everyone witnessed what happened during the match. We experienced similar referee decisions last season. It’s evident how referees act when officiating our games. However, we came here to fight. I prefer not to comment on the officiating; they know their motives. I don’t wish to discuss this,» Battti’s remarks were relayed by Championship correspondent Nikolai Baranov.

In the 56th minute, Krasnodar’s striker John Cordoba received a straight red card following an altercation with CSKA’s defender Moises. Currently, FC Krasnodar tops the RPL standings with 16 points from seven matches, while CSKA sits in second place with 15 points.
