Battlefield 6 Season 2 Delayed to February 17, Giving Players More Time for Season 1 Fun

If you enjoyed the content from the first season of Battlefield 6, you now have some extra time to dive in a bit more. Battlefield Studios has announced the start date for the second season and confirmed an extension for the current season as well.

The second season for Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC is set to begin on February 17, which is about a month later than originally anticipated. According to the developers, they need the extra time to enhance the content and implement adjustments based on community feedback.

An update for the current season will arrive on January 20. This update will introduce new weekly challenges, a bonus path, and further progression for the battle pass. Additionally, the first season will now include a celebration for Valentine’s Day.

Starting from January 27, players will be able to advance in the Frostfire bonus path and unlock new free and premium customization rewards, including a weapon set and an additional vehicle skin. The unique aspect of Frostfire is that experience points for it can only be earned through completing weekly tasks. There won’t be separate bonus challenges for this path.

Details about the upcoming second season of the new «Battlefield» will be shared by Battlefield Studios in February. Remember, Battlefield 6 is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series without Russian localization.
