Bulikin: Sergeev Will Shine at Dynamo Under Karpen — Expect at Least 10 Goals

Former Russian national team footballer **Dmitry Bulykin** shared his thoughts on the debut of striker **Ivan Sergeev** at Moscow’s Dynamo. In the first round of the RPL, the white-and-blues drew with Baltika (1:1).

«I believe Sergeev is a good fit for Valery Karpin. As of now, Ivan simply isn’t ready to showcase his skills. Naturally, it takes time to adapt. There are always expectations for a striker to score from their very first match. It’s clear that his debut didn’t go as planned. I’m confident there will be matches where he shines.

Tyukavin will return only next year. Sergeev will assume the role of the main striker this season. Dynamo is the highest-scoring team. Unless Karpin decides to make significant changes, he will provide ample playing time and opportunities for Sergeev to prove himself. I’m certain he’ll net around 10 goals. I believe he should score quite a bit before the winter break,» Bulykin stated in an interview with Championship correspondent Yaroslav Uporov.
