Bystrov Points Out Semaks Misstep in Draw Against Baltika

The well-known former Russian footballer Vladimir Bystrov pointed out a mistake made by the head coach of Zenit, Sergei Semak, during the 8th round match of the Russian Premier League against Baltika. The game took place in Kaliningrad and ended in a 0-0 draw. Bystrov believes that Semak should have brought on Vadim Shilov instead of Alexander Erokhin in the final moments of the match.

«Semak lets Erokhin come on for just four minutes at the end. He mentions Erokhin’s height, but I don’t care about that. He should have put Shilov in, give the young guy a chance to show what he can do. At least he could make a run,» Bystrov said in a recent episode of the YouTube channel «Oh, Native Football.»
