Celtic FC Announces Immediate Departure of Head Coach Wilfried Nancy

Scottish club Celtic has announced on its official website the departure of **Wilfried Nancy** from the position of head coach.

“The Celtic Football Club informs that it has decided to terminate the contract with head coach Wilfried Nancy, effective immediately. The club expresses its gratitude to Wilfried for his efforts and wishes him and his family all the best in the future.

Wilfried’s assistants, Kwame Ampadu, Jules Guégan, and Maxime Chaalie, are also leaving the club, and we wish them well.

The club also confirms that Paul Tisdale has stepped down as Head of Football Operations. We thank Paul for his contributions.

Wilfried Nancy had been with Celtic since December 4, 2025. During his tenure, the team faced six defeats in eight matches. Currently, the ‘Celts’ sit in second place in the Scottish Premiership standings.
